QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Question -

What led you into creating your business? What led you into the Heating and Air business?

Answer -

Jason - I started working in heat & air about 24 years ago for a family from church.  In 2019, I was a manager at a big local company and was not enjoying it.  The company culture was very toxic and I was constantly stressed out. After a major disagreement with the owner, I resigned with no clue about my future.  I received multiple job offers from companies wanting me to help run their HVAC  business.  But I could not see myself doing anything other than working for myself and being able to run the business as I saw fit.  I always considered starting my own company throughout the years.  So, JT Air Conditioning was born.

Question -

What do community do you serve? Residential, commercial, etc. What areas do you work in?

Answer -

Jason - We are based out of Yukon, Oklahoma.  But we pretty much service the entire OKC metro and suburbs.  We primarily focus on residential but do have a few commercial clients as well.  We are a small, family-oriented company.  I truly believe that FAMILY comes 1st.  And I want my current & future employees to realize that their families come 1st before work.

Question -

What should you be doing through the winter to make sure your furnace is in great shape?

Answer -

Jason - MAINTNENANCE!!!  First thing is keeping your filters changed & clean.  This is the most important thing a homeowner can do to keep their heat working smoothly throughout the winter.  But there are other maintenance issues to address, like cleaning flame sensor & checking electrical components.  Most of these would require hiring a professional to take care of them. We would be happy to take care of them for you!

Question -

What can you be doing to make sure your unit is ready for the summer?

Answer -

Jason - Once again the answer is MAINTENANCE!!!   There are a lot of things that can be done.  Changing filters, cleaning outdoor coils (actually cleaning the coils, not just rinsing off the unit), making sure refrigerant levels are correct, checking electrical components such as capacitors, contactors,  compressors and motors,  making sure condensate drain is clear.  We do offer tune ups for both AC and Heaters.

Question -

You have two different membership programs.  What are the benefits of joining?

Answer -

Jason - Our membership program is designed to help keep your existing system running as long as possible and at the highest efficiency possible.  It also helps reduce high utility bills and costly unexpected repair.

We offer 2 different Membership.  GOLD & DIAMOND.  Either option provides both AC & heating tune ups.  Other benefits are discounts on any repairs needed, after hours discounts, equipment replacement discounts, priority scheduling, and more!!!  These memberships can be paid on an annual basis or we are now offering monthly memberships as well.  Whatever way works best for your budget.

Question -

Anything you can do to make sure your unit lasts? Any small fixes or things you can do to get the most years out of it?

Answer -

Jason - You might start noticing a theme here.  MAINTENANCE…MAINTENANCE…MAINTENANCE.  Making sure your heat & air system is clean and working at peak performance is the #1 thing you can do to prolong the lifespan of your system.   If your system is dirty, low on refrigerant, dirty filters, weak electrical components…all of these will make your system work harder than it should.  Therefore costing you extra $$$ on utility bills and unwanted wear & Tear on your equipment.   A properly maintained system should last around 15 years…maybe longer.

With all that being said, there is one thing to consider other than maintenance.  Airflow.  Most systems have undersized return air ductwork.  If the returns are undersized the system will not breathe properly making it struggle just like lack of maintenance will.

Question -

What services do you offer?

Answer -

Jason - Residential & some light commercial heating and air including maintenance, repairs, & replacements.  ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS…Mini Split Ductless systems…ductwork repair & replacement (we do partner with a local duct cleaner that we highly recommend)…dryer vent cleaning …blow in attic insulation…Remodels…CUSTOM new construction…Affordable payment options.

Question -

Any promos right now?

Answer -

Jason - 36 month 0% financing or $1000 off new systems.   20% off any thermostat upgrade.  FREE evaluation for attic ductwork and Insulation (& discounted costs for these as well).  All of these promotions are running until April 1st of this year.

Question -

What is your customer service philosophy?

Answer -

Jason - This might be the most important question asked.  Customer Service is THE MOST IMPORTANT part of our company.  I want any client of ours to feel they have been treated fairly & with respect.  We always try to go above and beyond to make sure our customers are 100% satisfied.  Even though we are a small company we get work done quickly and correctly.  We are not perfect but will do whatever it takes to get the job done to the customers satisfaction.   We promptly respond to any phone calls or emails.  And a good amount of customers just text with requests for service.   I will put JT AIR CONDITIONING’S customer service and our quality of work up against anybody.
